Harvesting and threshing are rituals being revived in Galicia with the aim of preserving identity, fostering community, and promoting the rethatching of the pallozas of Os Ancares. Together with Javier García (Vilar de Mouros), Pablo Rodríguez (O Puxedo), and Lucía González (Piornedo), we journey across a map where wheat and rye symbolize the recovery of rural life through ancient customs that seek to fill the void and break the silence of forgetfulness endured by its people.
